Unite is a New Jersey half marathon that is organized by Rutgers University for the main purposes of charity. Just like the case was before, CGI racing has been tasked with the responsibility of making sure that the race is a major success. If you love racing, volunteering or charity work in general, this is the event you need to attend in New Jersey in the coming months. Take note that the race will be held on the 12th of April, 2015.
Registration Now In Progress
Registration for the half marathon race is not open and interested parties can register at the New Brunswick Campus in New Jersey. You have the option to register for the 8 kilometer race which is basically a family fun run or the half marathon which will be the main event of the day. Being one of New Jersey’s largest half marathons, CGI racing expects thousands of participants to get registered in the coming months.
Why Take Part In The Rutgers University Half Marathon?
If you have the spirit of enthusiasm and love in you, this is definitely the racing event you cannot choose to overlook. Other than charity, many participants will use the race for exercising and having fun with friends and family. The good thing is that the race embodies the spirit of aid and being useful in society.
Helping Make This Race Happen
With thousands of runners expected to compete during the major race in April, 1500 volunteers are currently needed to help. The volunteers will assist in different elements during the race weekend including prop-setups, water stations, registration and the finish line. The Unite marathon will also allow you to raise money for your group if you opt to register as a team or organization in the category of volunteers.
Raising Money For Charity
The main aim of the Rutgers University Unite race is to help in raising money for charity use in New Jersey and others of your choice. Since this is one of the largest half marathons in New Jersey today, the event is expected to raise a good amount of money. If you feel that this is the event that you should be attending come April, don’t hesitate.
